Prepaid Credit Card or Prepaid card different between Prepaid debit card or debit card ?

It is a little bit confusing about the different expression of debit card and prepaid card or prepaid credit card and prepaid debit card. What is actually a debit card is? Prepaid debit card is not exactly the correct expression about debit card. Debit card is similar like normal credit cards. You can shop with your debit card like other normal credit cards where ever debit card accepted. The different is you can only use the debit card after you put the money on your bank account related to the cards. So it basically you have a bank account with the debit card. It is a wise option when you only spend the money from your account without creating debts and no interest charges every month if using debit card. No hassle of thinking about another bill every month. Utility bills alone can make your head spin sometimes.
So what about the prepaid card? There also have expression prepaid credit cards. But if it is prepaid it cannot be credit though. Well, prepaid card are basically like prepaid card for mobile phone. Where phrase like “reload your prepaid” or “top up your prepaid” can be used. As well as prepaid card for prepaid credit card? you can buy from bank issuer that offers prepaid card. Now there are lots of bank issuer for prepaid card. Why ? Mostly people like using prepaid card instead of carrying a lot amount of money especially when you travel abroad. Prepaid card also great options for people who have bad credit in their credit cards records.
With prepaid card you don’t have to open any bank account or checking account to have prepaid card. Prepaid card usually can be reload from your bank account, from your debit card and credit cards. The place or location you can reload your prepaid card basically base on the bank issuer. The more convenient to reload the prepaid is the better option of course. Most bank issuer offer more cheaper fees for prepaid card than debit card.
In terms of security level which card is more secured, prepaid card or debit card? It is a little advantage when using prepaid card because if your card lost or stolen, it can be used if the balance available in the cards. But for debit card, because it is linking to your bank account it’s a little bit risky if it’s stolen or lost some where. It still can be used base on your bank account balance. But the solution is the same if the card had been stolen or lost. Call the emergency number to the bank issuer and you can stop the card from being active. .It is advice to note down your card number and the emergency call number if bad things happen. Most bank issuer give second prepaid card where it can be used when the first one is lost. And most bank issuer also give the replacement cash according to the balance.
