You can buy this prepaid travel card at the travelex bank branches in three different currency euro(EUR), dollar(USD) and pound (GBP). Travelex Cash Passport can be used widely all over the world such as japan, mexico, philadelphia anywhere around the globe using Visa ATM’s as well as accepted by Visa Electron.

But there are a number of countries where card usage is restricted as:

  • Iran
  • Iraq

  • Sudan

GBP Card Commissions
Normal sterling travellers cheque commissions apply on purchase and reload of the GBP card. The commission payable both on purchase and re-load of the card is currently 2%.

When using prepaid credit card or credit cards, there are risk of card stolen or lost from your wallet. It advice to report the travelex customer services to block the card immediately. Since the card had been blocked, it can prevent the card from fraudulent use. It is advice the moment you get your prepaid travel card, write down the card number and the emergency number. It is possible for you to make report immediately.

It is also to recommend to have travelex insurance from travelex insurance services where you can get benefits on medical facilities and emergency assistance services where you can make arrangements for an emergency cash transfer after reporting your card had been stolen or lost.
